Jaimie Watts as the Scarlet Pimpernel

They seek him here…
They seek him there…
Those Frenchies seek him everywhere.
Is he in heaven, or is he in hell?
That damned elusive Pimpernel!

The production will have an open air performance at the Dore festival on the evening of July 6th.

The Company presents a rip-roaring, swashbuckling production from the critically acclaimed writer/director Alison Munro (The Man In The Iron Mask, Pride & Prejudice) based on the famous novels by Baroness Orczy.

"The Scarlet Pimpernel" recounts the tale of a gallant band of English aristocrats fighting to rescue their French cousins from the horrors of the Revolution and the guillotine - their leader, the enigmatic Scarlet Pimpernel.

This is a story of derring-do, sword-fights, politics and intrigue presented as only the Company can — with style, energy and humour. A first class evening of swashbuckling for all the family.

This production is sponsored by The Doctors Orders, 30p off Wine or Ales with a ticket stub during show week.
